Meriah Hudson NicholsRole in WAIV: Program Coordinator / Career CounselorStarted with WAIV: 2003 She's the one who will: guide you to your destiny, job, DOR, or the best Thai restaurant in Berkeley. Professional cred: BA in Education (University of Hawaii); Master's in International Management / Human Resource Development and Training (School for International Training). 17+ years of experience: HR / Teaching / Training / Job Development. Bio: Meriah's a global nomad (not to be confused with noble glonad) and grew up in lots of places that sound really exotic unless you actually live there. According to her toddler, she's really smart because she knows how to read. At 5'7", she is the 3rd tallest — and 3rd shortest! — person in WAIV. |

Patrick CivelloRole in WAIV: Program Assistant (Monday / Wednesday / Friday)Started with WAIV: 2006 He's the one who will: schedule your appointments and answer your questions regarding WAIV services or the meaning of life. Professional cred: BA in Sociology, BA in Psychology (UC Berkeley), Master's in Counseling (San Francisco State), Veteran of the US Air Force ('97), with 30+ years of life experience under his belt. Bio: Of an obviously Celto-Italiano lineage, Patrick spends his time pretending he's Indiana Jones and promoting Beethoven's career. Patrick likes to think he's the tallest person in WAIV, but at 5'10", he's not really. He resides with his fiancée in Berkeley. Stop by any time. |

Kyoko YamadaRole in WAIV: Program Assistant (Tuesday / Thursday)Started with WAIV: 2009 She's the one who will: keep track of your paperwork and make sure your file is pristine; send you reminders for anything and everything; and all with a smile! Professional cred: BS in Integrative Biology (UC Berkeley). Licensed and accredited piano and Japanese teacher, with over 15 years of professional experience. Bio: Growing up, Kyoko had a crush on Han Solo, and loved Japanese anime and classical music. She has a passion for museums and good quality handbags. Kyoko's newest thing is drinking hot chocolate first thing in the morning — it’s supposed to be good for your stomach (and surely something so delicious can't be wrong!). At 5'4", she is the shortest person in WAIV, but definitely has the tallest demeanor. |

Morgan CrawfordRole in WAIV: Peer AdvisorStarted with WAIV: 2009 He's the one who will: lead you on tangents; help you find your way around campus (bubble tea in hand); revamp your resume; and wear the brightest, hottest pants in the family. Professional cred: Currently studying Rhetoric here at Cal. Bio: Morgan grew up in a lots of places but strangely, can't use maps very well. He spends way too much time on Facebook and rides a pretty purple bicycle (which Bean says is actually 'carbon fiber'). At 6' even, he's the tallest person in WAIV, and he's also the youngest in our crew. |

Bean KhambattaRole in WAIV: Peer AdvisorStarted with WAIV: 2009 He's the one who will: cook you something awesome if he feels like it; help you navigate USAJobs; be nice to you when no one else will; and show you how plaids should be worn. Professional cred: An Art History major here at Cal, ready to graduate in May. Bio: Bean is the only one in WAIV who is Bay Area born and bred — which means that he knows things you might not — like the best local graffiti artists. While he hates being on speaker panels, he always ends up on them. At 5'5" he is almost the shortest person in WAIV but definitely has the biggest earlobes! |
